ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the Alachua County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, Gainesville). This meeting begins at 6 p.m.

The Committee will take public comments in person only. The meeting can be viewed on Cox Channel 12, the AC TV app (Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Roku), or the County’s Video on Demand website.

Z22-000008 First Assembly Faith Fellowship Child Care Center Special Exception – This is a request by Willie L. Jones, Sr. and Sharon Jones, agents, for First Assembly Faith Fellowship, Inc., owner, for a special exception to allow a child care center on approx. 4.7 acres in the 'R-1c' (single-family residential, 1-4 dwelling units/acre) zoning district with a Low Density Residential (1 to 4 dwelling units/acre) land use designation on parcel 16134-053-000 located at 2303 S.W. 27th Street.
