Hi representatives of NE Gainesville,

I've lived near Tom Petty Park/NE park since 2004. I frequent the park often and use the green space occasionally. I'm excited about the new pickleball courts but based on being in the area for over 20 years, I don't believe there is a need for additional parking. Even when little league season was open, parking was still functional for a high volume of cars.

Can our representatives make a more informed decision on removing areas just for more cars to park? And if it is determined that it is absolutely needed, can a more sustainable parking option be employed?
