Greetings
This email is sent to clarify a few things regarding the initial subject email.

1.  The email was shared with everyone as a reminder and because all of you have been briefed on this project and related support and/or our ask for information in the past.  It is also my way of being efficient in my communication and ensuring everyone has the same first-hand information.  We are all very busy people with ever changing priorities due to the demands of new issues that arise each day. I know from experience that sometimes lower priorities become more urgent merely because of time lapse;  but that does not make it any easier to fit them in with the demands of  any given day.

2.  In my haste to finish the initial email, I inadvertently listed Mr. Powell's email twice, one of which was intended to be Mr. Alexander's email.  Thanks to whoever shared the email with Mr. Alexander so he wasn't left out of the communication.

3.  I have been made aware that some might have the wrong impression of my intent and my relationship with Mr, Powell and Mr, Alexander.  I have always known they are fine, capable, busy men with significant care for and involvement in uplifting our entire community, especially the side of Gainesville that suffer the greatest economic, education, justice and racial disparities.  Thus, please understand it is not in my nature to cause harm of any kind, to anyone, for any reason, and certainly not to people I respect and work with in the community with a view towards helping to make our community the best it can be!

4.  In my closing lines of the initial email, I made the comment "I understand that I am just a little nobody neighbor advocating for a resident focused major development project to be implemented in a long ignored segment of the city (at least as to projects that directly aid the turnover of neighbors money there); but don't I at least deserve the courtesy of some kind of response?"  Please understand that is to reflect my size and resources to that of the size of the city and its resources which are huge by comparison.  Never had I thought that any person would see me as a nobody.  Most of us are God fearing people and I know we understand there are no little people or no bodies in God's Kingdom.  We are all important regardless of our particular lot in life.

Thank you for all that you do and for accepting my communication.

Greetings,

This is yet another follow-up because I am still Waiting to hear from You/City regarding the subject which in part relates to a still unresponded to question that I asked the commission and staff a few months ago.  At the legislative delegation meeting held January 9, 2025 City Manager Curry indicated Mr. John Alexander would be in touch.  Since I hadn't heard from Mr. Alexander by the time of the January 29, 2025, State of the City event, I followed up with him at the end of that event. Mr. Alexander informed me that Mr. Mike Powell was now with the city and that Mike would be the one to follow-up with me.  As of this time, February 17, 2025 I have not yet heard from Mr. Powell.

During my conversation with Mr. Alexander, I asked if the contact would be made using corporate time or government time. Mr Alexander's response was "somewhere in-between."  I did not question the vagueness of that response and instead decided to presume it would at least be within a week to 10 days since corporate timing would typically be one - two days.  Since it has now been more than two weeks, I thought it reasonable to follow-up again. I understand that I am just a little nobody neighbor advocating for a resident focused major development project to be implemented in a long ignored segment of the city (at least as to projects that directly aid the turnover of neighbors money there); but don't I at least deserve the courtesy of some kind of response?  Please advise. Thank you.
