Attached please find my Petition to the Codes Enforcement Magistrate to withdraw the Dec 2024 directive that codes enforcement could demolish my House as of Feb 10, 2025.  I have previously written to you about this matter.  You will note that I pointed out the bad faith actions of the City in detail. I think I make it clear that it is the city that has acted illegally, not I. The city wrongfully obstructed me in all my efforts to build the requisite foundation on which to secure my House.  The chronology is clearly stated in the Petition.   Mr. Bachaus has recently stated orally that codes would abstain to give me more time to move the House, but I don't  have that promise in writing, nor any guaranteed amount of time.  I sought a meeting with the city manager and she simply referred the matter to the police as a safety matter???.  I am personally perplexed at the commission's disinterest or unwillingness to assist a property owner in securing her rights under the law even in the face of evidence of intentional wrongdoing by city staff.

Sincerely,

Cynthia Bevilacqua
