A new year is a perfect time to prioritize your mental health by committing to a 5-day challenge. Each day in this eLearning explores a different facet of mental health and contains a simple exercise for putting it into practice. Workday Tips and Tricks: Managing Your Personal and Work Information in Workday

Managing your personal and work information in Workday is crucial for keeping everything up to date. This ensures that you receive accurate work communications, benefits options and tax information. Here's a guide to help you navigate and update your personal information in Workday. Keep in mind that certain changes may require verification before they are approved.

Home/Mailing Address

There are many reasons to ensure the home address you have listed in Workday is accurate. A missing or incorrect address could put you at risk of not receiving your work correspondences on time, being offered the wrong benefits options or even being taxed incorrectly. Every employee is responsible for ensuring that their home address and “mailing” designation in Workday are correct.

To confirm or update this information:

1. Login to Workday using the sign in to Workday link.

2. In Workday, select menu in the upper left, then select the personal information icon.

3. Select the contact information button.

4. Under home contact information, ensure the address(es) listed are accurate, and that the desired address has the “mailing” designation in the usage column.

5. If edits are needed, select the edit button in the upper left and select change my home contact information.

  • To update your primary home address – select the pencil icon next to the address you want to update and make the necessary changes.
  • To change your Mailing address – select the pencil icon next to the address you want to use as your mailing address. In the usage field, select mailing.

6. To save the changes you made, select the check mark icon.

7. At the bottom of the screen, select the submit button.

If you notice your work address is incorrect in Workday - please contact your manager to initiate the updates on your behalf using the “change job” process.
