My name is Xavier. I heard reference that the park surrounding Citizens Field will be demolished and paved over in favor of a parking lot. This is especially egregious as it seems the money will from the "wild spaces" fund. I urge the city commission to reconcider, as natural parks and wildlife are what make Gainesville. That money to create a permanent pavement structure that cannot be repurpose or undone could be spent on renovations the field and stadium if needed and even investing in other parks.

I urge for you all to please be conciderate to Florida's nature.
