Is no one telling the commissioners or is the commission just not listening to the “Go Downtown” Business Owners and the new downtown advisory board whom are against:

  1. Paid Parking
  2. The closed parking on SW 2nd Avenue
  3. The Block by Block Program

Yet the City keeps pushing forward.

Would it help if the affected businesses lease the SW 2nd Avenue parking for $10,000 a year. I would guarantee the money. One check. Once a year. No hassle. That is $10,000 the city could use to help clean up the trash or help another homeless person into housing.

_____  Yes, the City will accept the $10,000 to help clean up trash and help put a homeless person into housing.

_____  No, the City has plenty of money.
