Good Afternoon City Commissioner Duncan-Walker,

It was a pleasure meeting you last month at the primary candidate forum.

As we discussed, youth engagement in community issues, namely gun control, is vital to the preservation of our community.

I would love to set up a time for us to chat on the topics of youth civic engagement and the university's involvement in social issues.

I am copying another local youth leader Alana Cumberbatch to this email so she can be included in this discussion as well. Alana is the new director of the Neighborhood Revitalization Coalition and I feel her input of these discussion would be invaluable.
