Happy 80th Birthday Judy! Thank you for all you have done and your contributions to Dance Alive National Ballet. We wouldn’t be where we are today without you.


In honor of Judy’s 80th birthday, please donate to Dance Alive and let’s show her how much we appreciate her dedication and unwavering support!

80+ YEARS AND COUNTING!


Who knew the round baby pictured would have such a full rich life? Teacher, dancer, choreographer, grant writer, administrator, costume designer, reader, dog lover!


And a dreamer! Some day there would be a building that would continue the legacy. That would provide a space for people of diverse abilities and incomes who would come to create and/or appreciate not only the art of dance, but music, art, and theatre.


Unless I've made a math error - and those of you who know me know it could happen - 80 only comes once.


If you had me as a teacher in elementary school or at UF -

Or during the 60 years of teaching dance-

Or worked with me as your choreographer at UF, DANB or the Hipp...

WE ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THE COLLIER COMPANIES CHARITABLE CHALLENGE GRANT HAS BEEN RENEWED FOR ANOTHER FIVE YEARS!


The Collier Companies, a long-time friend and supporter of the arts, has again pledged to match donations up to twenty-five thousand dollars annually for the next FIVE years to

Dance Alive National Ballet.

DANB is preparing to build a new 20,000 sq. ft. Cultural Center that will include a Dance and Music Academy, Outreach programs, and a Black Box Theatre for performances and rentals - a situated on beautiful grounds in central Gainesville. A true cornerstone of the arts in the heart of North Central Florida.
