Want to learn more about the candidates running in the August Primary?


Attend a live, in-person Primary Election Candidate Forum in Pugh Hall on June 23 beginning at 1 pm. The event is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Alachua County and its affiliate student chapter at the University of Florida, and by the Bob Graham Center for Public Service.


Candidates from six races have been invited to present their platforms in a moderated Q&A. A free reception and tabling will follow. For those unable to attend, the forum will also be streamed via YouTube.

Together with the UF Hamilton Center and the William & Grace Dial Center for Speech and Communication Studies, the Bob Graham Center presented political scientist John Inazu of Washington University to speak about his latest book, Learning to Disagree: The Surprising Path to Navigating Differences with Empathy and Respect. He spoke on April 17, 2024.
