Sign Up to Serve on an FLC Policy Committee

Each year, municipal officials from across the state volunteer to serve on the Florida League of Cities (FLC) five Legislative Policy Committees. The Legislative Policy Committees set the legislative platform for the League and Florida’s 411 municipalities.

New for 2024-2025: Changes have been made to most of the policy committee names, and some issues have shifted among the committees. Before signing up for a committee, carefully review each of the committee descriptions found in the 2024-2025 FLC Legislative Policy Committee Process and Frequently Asked Questions document.

The Committees include:

  • Finance and Taxation
  • Development, Code Compliance and Redevelopment
  • Intergovernmental Relations, Mobility and Emergency Management
  • Municipal Operations
  • Utilities, Natural Resources and Public Works.
