Good morning to Everyone:

Over the past few days, we have been invited to participate in several community activities. This one rose to the top with the Chamber of Commerce and the Zetas taking the lead.

I do apologize for this short notice, but we have been asked for Manhood to please come out and participate in this worthwhile event for young people.

Below you will find a flyer with information regarding a critical session being held at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church.

Because this event is so critical, I am asking parents to please make an adjustment to your schedules and to please support this event. All other activities on the initial schedule will be cancelled so that hopefully we can make and support this activity.

This event will enable our young men to interact with others who are going through similar issues.

The young men should wear their t-shirts and be there no later than 9:00AM.

If you know of other young men in the community, please bring them with you as well.

It is always great for parents, when possible, to participate and get involved as well.

This can also be an opportunity to engage this group and promote our Mother's Day Basket fundraising event.

Ms. Holland, please send this information out to the Parent Support Group (PSG) as soon as possible.

Remember, together We Are stronger!!

Subject: Invitation to Standing on Business Loving Myself This Weekend

Good morning, Charlie,

I hope this email finds you well. I am reaching out late for an event this weekend at SpringHill Missionary Baptist Church to see if you could bring Manhood Youth Development Foundation youths to the Zetas Treat Her List a Lady event this Saturday.

The event will cover topics like Self-Esteem, Mental Health Tips, Violence and Suicide Prevention, Law and Your Community (how to interact with Law enforcement).

The topic that is near and dear to my heart at this time is the suicide issue. We have had 5 to 7 males in our community commit suicide recently, and I personally know of one in Marion County who took his life two weeks ago. I have attached a copy of the flyer. Again, I apologize for the late invitation. I have been busy with Chamber events and am just getting a chance to catch up on my to-do list. Hopefully, I will be able to see you or your youth this Saturday.
