Hello Commissioner Duncan-Walker,

We have a very special event coming up and I wanted to make sure to send you a personal invitation to help us celebrate.

We will be dedicating our “STEAM Ahead with Outdoor Learning” play area at our Gainesville Head Start/Early Head Start Center on Thursday, April 25 at 10:00 AM at our Gainesville Center.

PNC Bank generously provided the funding to make this project happen as part of their “Grow Up Great” initiative and we want them to know how much our community appreciates their investment in the lives of our most vulnerable children and families.

The project has created a learning area designed to build skills for STEAM, which adds Art to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and provides students with hands-on learning opportunities and materials that support exploration, discovery, and creativity.

I do hope you will be able to join us!
