A fabulous fund-raiser featuring Gainesville’s extraordinary "Dancing With the Stars.” This event has it all! Dining, dancing, silent auction, Dance Alive dancers and local celebrity stars, it is without doubt the most entertaining event around. Hosted by the team of Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, Eric Godet and Jillian Dinius, Special guest judges are film star Lisa Niemi Swayze and national award-winning ballroom dancer Deirdre Radler.

Fine Dining by Spurrier’s Gridiron Grille, dancing to the sounds of DJ Elio Piedra who always ‘Brings the Fiesta!’, with photos available by Philip Marcel. Supported by Spurrier’s Gridiron Grille, Parris Dance, and Garden and Grace Florals.

GISELLE - A 182 YEAR OLD LOVE STORY
There is a reason Giselle has lasted 182 years! Make sure you get your tickets to this exquisite production!

Afternoon leads are DANB Principal Dancers Carla Amancio and Tales Ribeiro with the evening leads Philadelphia Ballet's Oksana Maslova and Stirling Baca.

A tender moment in Act I, "he loves me, he loves me not" with Giselle plucking flower petals. How many years ago did young girls begin this action? We know for sure 182 as it is noted action in Act I!

Alachua County Board of
County Commissioners unanimously approved $500,000 of Tourist Development Tax (TDT) reserves
to support Dance Alive National Ballet's submitted proposal for the Dance Alive National Ballet Cultural
Arts Center.
Dance Alive National Ballet received scores of 100 from all members of the grant scoring committee and
were recommended for the highest available grant award through this program.

Alachua County Tourism Development Director Jessica Hurov stated, " we appreciate the opportunity to partner with Dance Alive National Ballet on their forthcoming capital project."

DANB Board President Lori Gleim and Artistic Director Kim Tuttle expressed their great appreciation to the Commission for joining in the journey to build a new Cultural Arts Center for our community.
